Aldermarsh is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit situated on the edge of a beautiful marshland in the Maxwelton Valley at the south end of Whidbey Island. The wooded 5 acre facility is a human-created space integrated within its natural setting where community, collaboration and sustainability thrive.
Our mission is to create and hold sacred space for residential retreats and programs that are focused on raising individual and collective consciousness, exploring creative and equitable ways of being in community, and learning to live in balance with the natural world. We provide a refuge for community: a place where one can be still and listen to the wisdom of the Earth and reconnect with soul’s calling.
We host a variety of residential retreats and workshops every year including writing, mediation, yoga, Authentic Movement, 5Rhythms, native and edible plant wisdom, and more. We host programs and retreats for individuals, groups, and organizations who share our commitment to listen deeply, respectfully witness self and other, and steward Earth and human communities in sustainable and soulful ways.
